Dear Praying Faithful, 

First, thank you so much for your prayers over the past couple of weeks for all of the newly baptized believers. There has been substantial resistance against some of them, and they continue to need our prayers.  

Last weekend, with the help of a supporting church in the US, the Jubilee church was able to go on a "Family Retreat." This is the first time that any of the Pachuca Project churches have gone on an all-church retreat. It was an amazing blessing. We spent two nights at a small hotel, where we held workshops for adults and teens, and other classes for toddlers and children. Of course, there was also plenty of time to swim and play soccer. The retreat proved to be a wonderful challenge for our church's families. In Mexico, as in other places around the world, there are significant historical and generational obstacles in the way of God's design for marriage and family, and several of our families needed to discover or re-discover what God intends for them.

Please continue to pray for the marriages in our church--that they would be strong and rooted in God's perfect design.
